SECONDARY SURGE ARRESTER MACLEAN Metal oxide, 650V lightning protective device designed to limit surge voltages by discharging or by-passing surge current to ground. Designed for grounded systems on which the maximum line-to-ground voltage does not exceed 650V rms at frequencies between 48 to 62 Hz. Patent pending design achieves a fault with-stand capability of 10 kA rms without the use of any external fusing. Unit comes with 18", #14AWG solid copper wire leads. Cover is ultrasonically welded to the housing and wire entry points are sealed to prevent moisture entry. Arrestor may be mounted outdoors as well as indoors.
